It's a really tiring week.. Had an assignment due on Monday (would've forgotten abt it if i wasn't reminded)"! And we had to prepare for open house tomorrow.. Though we were primed for the event 9 weeks ago, there was much work to be done, what with all the relieving of other classes leaving us little time.. Pictures had to be snapped to accompany documentations, dance had to be taught, artworks needed artist's identification tag, gotta sticka muted backing for every document, boards must be hung up.. So many things done and displayed.. for all of FOUR days... ... Aft which we will have to take them down.. zZz~ My shift ended at 4:30pm this week, but i stayed back FOC to offer some assistance to my fren the past 2 nites, arriving home only at 8pm+.. Besides tmr's event that is ending at aroun 9pm, i also have to work on Saturday as well.. Oh wells... ...
And what's the most sickening thing of all? Children and their parents getting on my nerves! PHISH PHISH PHISH! I am so irritated i so know it i so dun wanna feel like so.

Post dated 30/07/06[wrote the post a year back, havin been rubbed the WRONG WAY.]The Thing about Presents (aka Gifts)**i see jocelyn waving her fingers threateningly about my proposed abolishment of present-givin..Wahaha~ok jocelyn (who counts vouchers as totally insincere), here goes:wats all the nonsense abt sincerity?. u spend time in choosin a present. only to haf the receiver exclaimin dat she didn't like it one bit. and the ultimatum? attemptin to pass on the present to somebody else. so..and all this person can rmb is - i got a present i didn't like. who bothers abt ur sincerity and the time u took lookin fer a prefect gift?.i mean, at least appreciate the thought and the effort by showin the slightest hint of pleasure!.furthermore, many a times, the giver isn't certain of wat to get and end up askin the receiver for clues.. nt only dat, gettin a present also comes with terms and conditions. more so of the wat-not-to-gets. in the end, it boils down to the same sort of purchases time and again.. it doesn't help dat we already haf ownership of so many items these days.. hence, gettin an exceptional gift ain't dat straightforward anymore..and to receive gifts dat i, valerie tan, cant bare to use (coz the item's too pretty), it's such a waste of money..so all in all, i'll rather save the money and go get something i like and will prob use. henceforth, i am ascertained of my goal to fully get rid of the present givin aft moz of our 21st b'days. y aft the 21st b'day? ya might b wonderin.. simply. coz i deem celebratin 21st b'days is a rite of passage kinda ting and present-givin is in the package..i'll say wats more impt is the quality time spent together and the sincerity in gettin to noe and understand one another.but den again. i'll nt rule out present-givin totally coz it's satisfyin to noe dat the receiver appreciated the gift.. if she did. hehjocelyn will b relieved abt the last sentence, wouldn't she? *wink*** this post wasn't written wif jocelyn in mind.. well, nt entirely.. =P
