Starring the babelicious Kim Ah Jung and hunkelicious Joo Jin Mo, 200 Pounds Beauty was a hoot to watch.. Saw the trailer and immediately agreed to the movie date wif my buddy on sat.. The reviewer of The Straits Times gave the film 2 ticks, whereas The New Paper's gave 4 ticks.. I acquiesce wif the latter.. The plot flows brilliantly, milking in lots of laughs and makes one empathise wif the leadin ladee..

As mentioned by the TNP editor, the show is: "Immensely entertaining to watch without being pretentious or offensive to plus-sized folks. It is more than a mere shallow endorsement of plastic surgery, carrying a satirical undertone that pokes fun at the uglier side of pursuing beauty".

Power to Kim Ah Jung for lending her vocals to the soundtracks.. Maria~ AVE MARIA~

St. James.

Well.. I'll start wif St. James, an addition to my clubbin scene.. Been ages since i stepped into one.. The bugbears bt clubbin is dat i get home reekin of cigarette smoke, clothes n all.. Takes some time for the smell in the hair to disperse even aft a bath.. Also, i do not like the idea of being cramped in a small spot, shoved and trampled on.. But, it's a time for get-togethers and drinking alcohol at no charges.. Cheers to the big turnout, i got to see my dear friends.. I adore Cranberry Vodka, it's berry vodkalicious! For DIY shots, i recommend a mixed shot of 20% Chivas Regal and 80% Coke.. Sweet it is indeed, absolutely drinkelicious! On the other hand, Tequila shots are bitter and made sour wif a slice of lemon.. Haha~ Took 3.5 Tequila shots at St. James, how unsaintly.. camera.lights.action. i tink i got a bit dizzy.. walks in a straight line wif aid.. a lil nonsensical but still sane.. dats how i'll describe..

NTUC ChildCare - Staff Retreat.

Aft a nite of clubbin, nt forgettin washin up, i snoozed at 5am, only to wake up at 7am to leave for Johor Bahru..

Arrival: The itinerary was 2hrs of shoppin following lunch.. However, we ended up wif barely an hr.. Jusco Tebrau laid claims to being the biggest mall in South-East Asia/Asia/World (i cant rmb), until our very own VivoCity popped up.. Heh~ Having been there before, my colleague brought us to the department store.. The innerwear section was targetted.. Even i, who had never bought innerwears by myself went on a Lingerie Frenzy.. A myriad of pretty colours and designs.. As far as i'm concerned, the pieces retailed at only RM10!! We spent half of our time there.. Hoho~ Then, we went to get confectionery, my Malay pals happily patronised the halal-certified BreadTalk.. Having been futile in both attempts & dreams to lay my hands on The Doughnut Factory's doughnuts, i went nuts over those frm Dunkin Donuts.. 20 cute mini ones were sellin for simply RM10.. Wee~

Back on the bus, i fell aslp huggin my flat brown pouch.. It contained my hp, my passport, SGD $25 and RM 140.10.. My fwen recorded me durin my violent nap.. As usual, my head was noddin off frm side to side and everywhere.. What a funny sight to behold.

Then the inevitable had to happen. My friend seated on my right had to drop her jacket.. As i bent over to pick the garment up, i placed my pouch at the back of the seat and conveniently forgot abt it.. When it was time to alight, my mind was on the purchases i had to carry down..

Intially seperated into 3 rooms, the 6 of us participating in the dance managed to swop around and settled in Room 223.. Wow! Imagine our sheer delight at seeing a nice big suite, akin to a 4-rm HDB flat.. My buddy so happen darted into the master bedroom wich was to be mine.. Heh~ The side door slid to reveal a swimming pool we haf assess to just steps away.. Cool~ Too bad it closes at 7pm.. I gaily marched into the walk-in wardrobe, but nearly walked into the shower's glass door.. "! During the time of check-in, there were several electrical disruptions where the lights went out for a few mins.. The hotel most highly hadn't received such a huge reception of 600 before.. I didn't dare to step into the loo coz it was totally pitch dark.. My fearless friends were brave enuff to go where i daren't though..

Once the grp was done wif costume changes and application of make-up, ready to leave for rehearsals, horror hit me.. My brown pouch was MISSING! We turned the place upside down lookin for my pouch.. I didn't noe how it disappeared.. Panic! And wen we tried dialling my hp, the line was cut off.. Heart-attack! [Not another thief wantin to pinch my stuff] i hoped.. The seriousness of the situation - i'll hafta remain in Malaysia for goodness-knows-how-long without an identity.. I imagined mummy's reaction, the sum of money to replace my lost possessions and my forsaken position.. Tragic! Tragedy-in-waitin!

Then i troubled the personnel, wich at that point in time, i still couldn't rmb how my brown pouch disappeared! They decided to contact the driver for some clues [my grp wasn't helpin by suggestin dat he went to drive other Malaysians around] *those other people will take my pouch* i hoped not.. But they reassured me and promised to stay wimme all the way through..

Wantin to act professional, i carried on wif dance practice albeit a heavy heart.. News came to me dat there is no pouch in the bus.. My heart sank.. So where did my pouch go??? My centre principle learned abt my predicament and together, we searched the room once again.. All the while, she emphasized dat no matter what, she'll make sure i get home.. Alas, the search for brown pouch came to no avail.. Deep down, I was touched by these people..

Den my principle made a comment abt my other colleagues.. Jackpot! We found em, and they did haf my pouch! Phew~ They picked up my pouch on the bus but forgot all abt it! 2hrs of emotional torture! My buddy attributed my carelessness to my lack of slp caused by late nite partyin.. Hrmph~ Anyways, i'm boy glad it's found.. Thankfully, the issue was resolved as we sat down for the 2nd dish..

The dance competition for the night was intense, the other 7 grps either injected the night's theme of latino flavour / belly-danced / bollywood-danced.. Ours was more like modern dance, our 4mins song combi goes like this: Madonna's [Like a Prayer], Stacie Orrico's [More to Life] and Britney Spear's [Sometimes].. We prepared ourselves dat even if we did not clinch any prize, we would haf an unofficial award-giving ceremony in our bedroom.. *Ahem* Nothing funny, just going up the bed to receive a bread or sth.. Who knew, quite unexpectedly, we got 2nd!!! That was way way way cool! The prize money, rather, NTUC vouchers was a disappointment.. 1st prize winners got $300, we got $150.. Halved?. Better than nutin.

All in all, i should say that i'm really blessed with such wonderful friends (pre-poly, post-poly) and family. Count your blessings too. would you?. =)
