Late mornin shift this wk.. Dat means 10 am - 7 pm.. And man, the last parent came at aroun 7:05 pm frm Mon - Wed.. Though it's only a couple of mins late, it makes a diference as to whether i catch the bus or not.. Coz the longest frequency of the bus is a sucky 20+ mins.. Until i found out i could actually cross over to the opposite bus stop and take a slightly longer loop service back to the interchange.. Wen the teachers questioned why i didn't record the late arrival of the parent, i juz managed a smile and didn't noe wat to say.. 4 late arrivals would result in a fine of $20.. I know dat parents haf to rush frm work to pick their child up, but i'm tired and want to rush home to rest as well.. To. @. and fro. work takes up 11 1/2 of 24 hrs.. Phew~ Neways, the centre is in need of money.. Field trips and events are makin losses instead of money.. zZz.. I can't let these latecomers get away wif it time and again, therefore, (note to self) i shall pull no punches in wringing dat $20.. BUT. it's easier said than done coz i'm too 'soft' to do dat.. >_<
Had to do the early mornin shift on Thur and Fri as the Chinese Teacher was on course.. Good grieves.. On Thur, i woke up at the time i was supposed to start work.. As i had the keys to dat side of the Bay, I was friggin panicky tryin to contact the clerk wif hopes of findin a replacement and dat fuggin sch phone wasn't workin.. Thankfully my fren was awake and contacted the clerk through her hp.. Of course, a scoldin wasn't spared.. Bleh~ The replacement teacher said she wouldn't go tellin the Principal in good faith of the teachers.. Never do i ever wanna cross swords wif the notoriously-known Principal.. And then on Fri, i woke up late again.. "!"! Managed to rush to the centre a few mins aft time.. Luckily the Infant Teacher frm nex door kindly opened the doors for the arrival of the 1st child.. If not for her, a complaint might be made against me.. You never know. Some parents aren't in the least bit compromising.. As a matter of fact, the clocks in the centre are a good 5 mins faster.. All these shift changin in a single week is makin me pretty unnerved..
